About us

 

The Office for International Agreements and Partnerships (B.A.P.I.) is an organizational structure within the "Ovidius" University of Constanța (U.O.C.) that carries out specific activities aimed at establishing international partnerships in the field of education and scientific research.

 

The "Ovidius" University of Constanța facilitates collaboration with foreign higher education and research institutions by offering international students the opportunity to pursue various undergraduate and master's degree programs in English. These programs include medicine, dentistry, computer science, American studies, business administration, English language and literature - modern language and literature (German/Turkish/Italian/French), Anglo-American studies, cybersecurity, and machine learning.

 

Our mission

The mission of B.A.P.I. is to support the internationalization policy of the university and strengthen the prestige of UOC as an institution of education, science, and culture, both within the European space and globally.

 

Objectives

The overall objective of B.A.P.I. is to enhance the international collaboration of UOC in the fields of education and research.

Specific Objectives/Assignments:

  • Establishing partnerships with foreign higher education and research institutions, as well as international organizations and associations operating in the field of education and/or scientific research.
  • Participating in projects and events organized within international professional networks and associations.
  • Attending conferences, education fairs, and national and international events.
  • Coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating international mobility for students and staff, based on inter-institutional cooperation agreements with partners from outside the European space (other than Erasmus Plus).
  • Monitoring the participation of UOC faculty and students in congresses, symposiums, roundtable discussions, performances, artistic activities, and sports competitions organized abroad, as well as those with international participation within the country.
  • Promoting national and European values in the scientific, cultural, and educational domains through international academic cooperation.
  • Promoting the educational programs offered by the university to enhance the attractiveness of study programs, joint-degree programs, and interdisciplinary research.
